  In all the years we've been coming to Isle of Palms, this was the first visit to Acme.
  I suppose I had assumed that it was another dive bar because of the name and proximity to the beach...
  Instead, this is a well executed upscale menu with a casual setting. The service was outstanding, our server Craig was perfectly charming and attentive and knew the entire menu front and back.
  They have a whole section of shrimp and grits options, mine had fried shrimp and short ribs and was delicious. A couple people in my party had a succotash with blackened shrimp that was outstanding.
  I highly recommend Acme to anyone staying in the area.

  The food and the service were excellent. They entire staff made us feel welcomed. My iced tea glass was never empty. The roddy rock oysters were the best I've ever had. I had the blackened NC wahoo and it was so delicious! We'll definitely go back next time we're in town.

  EXCELLENT food and reasonably priced. The happy hour drinks were a great deal. The two dinners we ordered were delicious! A local place with a relaxed atmosphere and local prices. If you are visiting Charleston this is a quick 20 min drive and worth it! The people are friendly and the manager was walking around making sure everything was right. Compared to the places to eat in Downtown Charleston the prices are far more reasonable and the food here was exceptional. Eat here!!!

  I love how they use locally sourced fresh ingredients and local caught seafood. The best fried chicken I've ever had (and I'm more of a grilled chicken gal!) Friendly service and nice outdoor porch. We make a point to go here every time we vacation on IOP. Also, they had a fluke with their credit card system on one of our visits a few years ago and I noticed duplicate charges on my CC. The owner, Bobby, was incredibly nice and took full responsibility to follow up and refund me. I really appreciated how he handled it so well!
